Rajganj, 14th October: Jotiyakali area’s shop has fallen victim to the ill intentions of miscreants. A case has come to the fore where a gang of thieves stole money from a shop by breaking and entering through the wall.
Reportedly, the thieves carried out the burglary by breaking the wall of a variety store in Jotiyakali adjacent to Fulbari on Thursday night. Although the thieves did not steal the goods, they managed to escape by stealing a cash box that contained a good sum of money.
In this regard, the shop owner Majibul Ali said that this morning he realized that burglars stole money from his shop when he saw that the wall of the shop is broken. He added that the thieves stole a cash box that contained about ten thousand rupees. Even before this, a similar incident of theft had taken place where the thieves entered by breaking the wall. Such incidents are becoming common in the Jotiyakali area thus to ensure protection from such miscreants businesspeople have demanded the police patrol the area.
