Dhupguri, 28th January: On Wednesday night, a bogie of a goods train was derailed at Khalaigram Railway Station in Dhupguri block. The incident took place at around 10:30 pm.
Reportedly, the freight train left for Dhupguri from Khalaigram Railway Station with 43 bogies on Wednesday night. Just as it reached the mainline from the No. 3 line of the station, a bogie of the train suddenly derailed.
As soon as the news was received, officials of Khalaigram station and Dhupguri station, RPF and the railway traffic inspector of the area, Shubhendu Roy, reached the spot. Train movement came to a standstill for a long time due to the incident.
