Phansidewa, 13th October: Sensation prevailed in the area of Phansidewa’s Barpathu Jote when a body was recovered from a reservoir on the roadside. The identity of the deceased has not been ascertained as of now.
According to locals, the residents of the area spotted the body while passing by the road. The matter was immediately reported to the police.
Soon after receiving the news, the Phansidewa police reached the spot and recovered the body, and sent it to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for postmortem. The police are investigating the entire incident.
