Jalpaiguri, 25th July: Body of two lovers was found hanging from a tree in Jhakua Para of Rajganj. The deceased have been identified as Khirmal Roy of Jhakua Para and Jayshree Roy of Patil Bhashan area of Shikarpur Gram Panchayat.
As per sources, both the couple are married to other people and had their respective families. Locals speculate that they might have committed suicide due to a love affair. The dead bodies were found this morning and the police were immediately informed.
Upon receiving the news, the Jalpaiguri Kotwali police reached the spot and recovered the bodies and sent it for post-mortem.।
