Siliguri, 19th November: Sensation prevailed after the body of a newborn baby was recovered from the Mahananda River in the Porajhar area near Noukaghat.
Reportedly, the locals sighted the body floating in the river and immediately reported the matter to the police. Upon receiving the news, the police reached the spot and recovered the body.
It is to be noted that yesterday too, a newborn’s body was recovered from Siliguri’s Mahananda river.
