Kharibari, 11th July: A blood donation camp was organized under the supervision of Paschim Banga Vigyan Mancha and with the assistance of Kharibari Science Center. The blood donation camp was inaugurated by Gopal Dey, Executive President of Paschim Banga Vigyan Mancha, Darjeeling District.
In this regard, Gopal Dey said that due to the ongoing pandemic, there has been a blood crisis in various hospitals. Hence, a blood donation camp was organized in collaboration with Kharibari Science Center. Around 30 units of blood were collected at the camp, which was sent to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital.
District Secretary Devarshi Bhattacharya, Science Center Secretary Kalachanda Das, and others were present at the camp.
