Naxalbari, 06th July: The Naxalbari Mandal BJP organized a series of service-oriented programmes on the occasion of the 125th birth anniversary of Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee on Monday.
As part of the observance, BJP workers cleared weeds and carried out a tree plantation drive at the Naxalbari BDO office. They also cleaned and paid floral tributes to the portraits of eminent personalities near the Naxalbari Police Station.
In addition, the BJP Yuva Morcha organized a programme to distribute kits to traffic police personnel throughout the day.
Several leaders and workers of the Naxalbari Mandal BJP were present during the programmes.
Speaking on the occasion, the president of the Naxalbari Mandal BJP said that Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee remains a guiding force and that the party continues to work by following the path shown by him.
