Naxalbari, 14th October: Police have arrested Suman Barman, president of Naxalbari Mandal of BJP Yuva Morcha with illegal cough syrup.
Reportedly, the police detained the youth leader from the Chakkarmari area of the Bengal-Bihar border late Thursday night. On searching, 25 bottles of illegal cough syrup were recovered from him during the search and arrested the BJP leader shortly after. Today the accused has been produced in the Siliguri Court. The police are investigating the entire case.
