Siliguri, 05th May: Trinamool Congress workers have been allegedly attacking BJP workers ever since the WB assembly election results were announced. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) strongly condemned the incident and staged a sit-in protest in front of Siliguri police station today.
BJP leader Sabita Agarwal said that female BJP workers are being tortured. Many workers have been forced to leave homes and go to other states. Hence, they demand that arrangements should be made to bring the workers back home and they should be assured of safety. He said the movement would continue until their demands are met.
