BJP supporters injured during Uttarkanya Abhiyan brought to NBMCH

Siliguri, 12th December: 50-year old BJP worker Ulen Roy, resident of Mantadari in Gajoldoba, was killed while several party workers were injured during BJP’s Uttarkanya Abhiyan on Monday.


Reportedly, the injured were undergoing treatment in their respective districts after the Uttarkanya campaign. However, on Saturday, they were brought to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for a better medical facility.

Jalpaiguri BJP MP Jayanta Kumar Roy rushed to the hospital to meet the injured supporters. While addressing the media, he said that after the Uttarkanya campaign, the party referred its injured workers from different districts to the NBMCH for better treatment. He maintained that 9 people have been brought to the hospital today. Some of the injured are residents of Jalpaiguri, Rajganj, Sadar Jalpaiguri and Haldibari.
