Rajganj, 13th January: BJP has submitted a memorandum in Binnaguri Gram Panchayat in support of 5-point demands including corruption in Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. A rally was taken out from Ambari Targhera ground in Rajganj. After which the said memorandum was handed over to the Pradhan of Binnaguri Gram Panchayat.
Hundreds of BJP workers and supporters participated in the said rally. A large police force was deployed to keep the situation under check. The police stopped the rally in front of the Gram Panchayat office. Later a team of BJP workers went and handed over the memorandum to the Pradhan.
In this regard, BJP’s Rajganj block president Nitai Mandal said that a memorandum has been handed over to Binnaguri Pradhan today in support of five-point demands including corruption, drinking water problem, poor condition of the roads and street lights in Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
Binnaguri Anchal Pradhan Shashichandra Barman said that the work has been done according to the rules in the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. He said that the work on the water and street lights is under process and will be completed in a few months.
