Siliguri, 03rd February: The Fuleswari area of Ward No. 28 has been infested by drugs and gambling addiction for a long time. In this context, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) activists submitted a memorandum to the ACP of the Siliguri Metropolitan Police, on Monday.
Raju Pal, on behalf of BJP, stated that even college students intoxicated with alcohol are sighted in the said area. Due to such a scenario, various thefts and robberies often surface from the area. Pal further alleged that despite reporting the matter to the police administration several times, no strict actions have been taken yet. Hence, they submitted a memorandum to the ACP demanding police patrol in the area regularly.
