Dhupguri, 17th February: Sensation prevailed after the body of Sanjay Roy, a BJP panchayat member, was found hanging in the Niranjan Path area of Dhupguri.
According to local sources, the Dhupguri police recovered his lifeless body from his house on Wednesday morning.
Kamlesh Roy, the convener of BJP’s Dhupguri assembly committee, assured to stand by the deceased’s family. He said that no suicide note was recovered from the spot. The autopsy report will reveal the exact cause of his death.
Police have sent the body for an autopsy and started an investigation into the incident.
