BJP leaders accuse State of “hiding” the COVID-19 crisis, party workers stage protest

Cooch Behar, 26th April: The BJP leaders, in Cooch Behar, staged a sit-in protest at their respective residences accusing the State government of “hiding” the seriousness of the coronavirus crisis in the state by reducing the figure of the total positive cases.


Apart from that, the leaders also alleged that they were not allowed to step outside to provide ration and other relief material to the masses.

As per the report, the demonstration was staged from 11 am to 1 pm following the government guidelines of maintaining social distance.


BJP West Bengal Organizational General Secretary Kishore Barman, District President of BJP Praveen Agarwal, General Secretary Raju Saha, and many other activists were present during the demonstration.
