Bharatiya Janata Party MP Saumitra Khan has sent a legal divorce notice to wife Sujata Mondal Khan, within 24-hours after she joined Trinamool Congress in Kolkata yesterday.
“I would request her to stop using the surname ‘Khan’. I am severing all relations with Sujata today. I am sending her a divorce notice. I also request the media to not label her as a ‘Khan’,” the Bengal BJP Yuva Morcha President said while addressing the media.
It is to be noted, Sujata Mondal Khan joined TMC in Kolkata in presence of veteran Trinamool MP Saugata Roy and spokesperson Kunal Ghosh on Monday. Holding a press conference, Sujata alleged that BJP does not give due respect and honour to people.
