Siliguri, 16th March: The North Shantinagar BJP in Dabgram Mandal took the initiative to raise awareness among the people regarding the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).
On Monday, the members of the organization conducted a door-to-door awareness campaign in North Shantinagar. During the campaign, they told people to wash hands frequently and cover nose and mouth when coughing and sneezing. People with cold or flu-like symptoms should immediately get a health check-up done and the use of masks has also been highly suggested.
Vice-president of BJP Jalpaiguri district Shikha Chatterjee and many other dignitaries were present during the event.
