BJP kickstarts election campaigning in Siliguri without a face

Siliguri, 11th March: While almost every party has announced the names of their respective candidates in all the assembly seats for the upcoming Bengal assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is yet to announce its candidate for the Siliguri assembly. However, the party has kick-started its campaigning in Siliguri without a face.

Darjeeling MP and BJP national spokesperson Raju Bista campaigned through wall writing in Ward no-10 today. Following which, he interacted with the traders of the international market in Sevoke road and urged for support towards the party.

While addressing the media, MP Raju Bista stated that BJP will field a reliable candidate for Siliguri. He took a jibe at the Trinamool Congress and labeled it as a Limited Company with Mamata Banerjee and Abhishek Banerjee as the owners. Hinting the former TMC leader Nantu Pal, who will contest as an independent candidate, Raju Bista said that the ones who want the welfare of the society are welcome in the party.
