Mirik, 04th April: Bhartiya Janta candidate (BJP) B. P. Bajgain from the Kurseong assembly constituency participated in ‘Jan Sampark Abhiyan’ at Mirik’s Phuguri community hall.
Addressing the media, after a programme jointly organized by BJP Mirik Mandal and Sourenee Mandal, B. P. Bajgain claimed, that the BJP party will have the victory not only in Darjeeling Hills but in the entire state of West Bengal. He further stated that their competition in the election is with Trinamool Congress (TMC ), not with Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM) in Darjeeling hills. He asserted that BJP and the hills will win in the war for truth.
It is to be noted, BJP’s Darjeeling district president Kalyan Dewan, Swaraj Thapa, Trilok Chandra Roka, Mirik Mandal president Amar Rana, District general secretary Kishore Singh, Women Wing president Shivani Diyali, and other regional leaders were present in the said meeting.
