Siliguri, 16th October: BJP held a rally in Siliguri, against SMC accusing them of delinquency in preventing dengue. The said rally commenced from Hashmi Chowk in Siliguri this evening and circumambulated different areas of the city.
During this, BJP’s Siliguri Organizational District Committee President Anandmoy Barman, Siliguri MLA Shankar Ghosh, Dabgram-Fulbari MLA Shikha Chatterjee, Phansidewa MLA Durga Murmu and many more were present.
In this regard, Anandmoy Barman said that the Siliguri Municipal Corporation has completely failed to deal with containing the spread of dengue. He further said many other programs will be organized in the coming days, including protests. Even after this, if SMC fails to contain the disease, then in future the Bharatiya Janata Party will start a massive movement.
