Alipurduar, 19th March: Sunday morning in Alipurduar’s North Kamsing village, was jolted with a bison ruckus in a residential area after it entered the residence.
Pursued by the people, the bison first took refuge in the bamboo thickets. After this Bison went to the tea garden of Mathura. After which its information was given to the Forest Department.
As soon as the news was received, the forest workers of the Chilpata range of Jaldapara Forest Department arrived and took the bison back to the forest after tranquillizing it.
