Cooch Behar, 12th April: Sensation prevailed after a bison attack was reported in the Sauderbas area under Mathabhanga-2 block on Friday morning. The incident created a stir in the entire area.
According to local sources, the locals sighted two bison coming out of the maize field this morning. Following this, the two bison rampaged through the entire area. The incident was reported to the forest department. The forest officials arrived at the scene and initiated the process to send them back to the forests.
No casualties were reported in the incident so far.
