Bhutan border wall at Kalchini’s Taribari collapses due to heavy rain

Kalchini, 16th June: Bhutan’s border wall situated at Taribari under Kalchini block of Alipurduar collapsed following heavy downpour. The water from the hills of Bhutan entered the village and created a flood-like situation. 
Reportedly, the boundary wall of about 200 meters collapsed on Wednesday night due to incessant rain. Due to this the rivers of Yogikhola, Gobarjadi and other areas are in spate. The residents of the area are facing great inconvenience by this.
