Siliguri, 27th January: The Bengal Save Education Committee submitted a 3-point memorandum to the district school inspector after staging a protest rally.
The rally commenced from Siliguri Baghajatin Park, following which, the committee members arrived in front of the district school inspector’s office and protested with placards in their hands. They presented several demands including the opening of educational institutions, cancellation of National Education Policy 2020.
Darjeeling district secretary of All Bengal Save Education Committee said, “Earlier, a letter was sent to the state government on behalf of the Save Education Committee. However, no response has been received yet.”
