Bengal Lockdown: Siliguri under strict police surveillance

Siliguri, 25th July: Today marks the second day of Bengal’s ‘2-days a week’ lockdown. While all shops and markets in Siliguri remained completely shut down, very few people were sighted on the streets, since morning.


Meanwhile, strict monitoring is being kept by the police in various parts of the city since this morning.

It is to be noted that a complete lockdown has been implemented in Siliguri until next Wednesday. Naka searching is also being carried out at various traffic points in the city. Strict action is being taken against the lockdown breachers.
