Alipurduar, 02nd December: Terror gripped the area of Panialguri of Majherdabri in Alipurduar after a bear entered the said village in the morning at 11AM today.
The bear took shelter in a bush in the area causing panic among the locals. On receiving the news of the incident, the forest personnel of the Buxa Tiger Project reached the spot. The entire area was surrounded by a net after which the bear was brought under control using a sleeping pill and taken to Rajabhat Khawa.
