Siliguri, 04th November: A rally was organized today in association with NJP Railway Colony Primary School and Young India to raise awareness on physical and sexual abuse of children.
Children easily become victims of such abuse many times as most of them are afraid to speak up or stand for themselves. The said procession was organized today to make the mass aware of victimized children and also to save them from such heinous abuse atrocities.
Students from many schools in the city participated in the said procession that circumambulated different areas of NJP. During this, Jalpaiguri District Primary Council Chairman Lakhyamohan Roy was present.
Speaking in this regard, the headmaster of the school, Bapi Chand said that many times children become victims of exploitation unknowingly. The processions have been organized particularly to spread awareness about such exploitations and crimes on the innocents. At the same time, Rohit Tiwari on behalf of Young India said that their initiative and motive is basically to stop the physical abuse of children.
