Siliguri, 22nd October: Ashok Bhattacharya, the former mayor of Siliguri, took a special initiative in memory of his wife. It is to be noted that Ratna Bhattacharya, wife of Ashok Bhattacharya, passed away a year ago. The veteran CPI(M) leader wanted to keep the memory of his wife alive through various social activities.
In regard to this, a tribute ceremony will be organized on the 30th October. Several initiatives have been taken to inculcate a scientific mindset among girls belonging to different strata of society.
Today Ashok Bhattacharya gave the information by holding a press conference and said that along with the all-around development of girls, many initiatives will be taken to increase the scientific mindset. He said that health camps would also be organized for girls and children at different times of the year.
