Anti-Corruption Branch raided residence of IC under Siliguri Metropolitan Police in Salbari

Siliguri, 26th December: The Anti-Corruption Branch of the State Police has raided the residence of two ICs in Siliguri. On Sunday, the Anti-Corruption Branch raided the residence of an IC working in the Malda district. On the other hand, on Monday afternoon, the Anti-Corruption Branch raided the house of an IC in Salbari working in the Siliguri Police Commissionerate. 


Reportedly, a search operation is being conducted by a team of five members at the IC’s residence from 1 pm today. During this, the said IC of Siliguri Police Commissionerate is also present in the residence. According to police sources, the Anti-Corruption Branch of the state police had been monitoring the said two ICs for several months. 

As per the information received, a team of the Anti-Corruption Branch of State Police reached Siliguri on Sunday. After arriving, a first raid was conducted at the residence of an IC located in Uttorayan township of Matigara. On the other hand, raids have been conducted on the residence of another IC in Salbari on Monday.
