Mirik, 30th September: Gorkhaland Territorial Administration Chairman Anit Thapa is scheduled to reach Panighatta on Thursday to lay the foundation stone of a paved road from Gate No. 4 of Panighatta to Rangmohan Basti. He will be accompanied by GTA Principal Secretary Surendra Gupta, Darjeeling District officers, and others.
Gorkha Janmukti Morcha Terai leader C. K. Sharma stated that the foundation stone of the road will be laid tomorrow under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. He added that a reception committee has been formed to welcome Chairman Anit Thapa.
