Rajganj, 29th April: In the wake of the rising number of COVID-19 cases, the Election Commission on Tuesday banned all victory processions on or after the day of counting of votes on May 02.
In this concern, the Rajganj police held an all-party meeting at the Rajganj Police station, on Thursday. Representatives of various political parties were present at the meeting.
In this regard, IC of Rajganj Police Station Pankaj Sarkar said that the Election Commission has instructed that no victory procession can be held on or after the day of the counting of votes. In addition, COVID protocols must be followed and everyone should maintain peace and order. An all-party meeting was held today to inform about the matter.
