All India Railway Federation warns to jam wheels if their demands are not met within 24 hours

Siliguri, 20th October: The All India Railway Federation is observing “Bonus Day” across the country on Tuesday. They are staging a sit-in protest in front of the railway headquarters demanding bonus. As a part of that programme, the NF Railway Mazdoor Union staged a protest in front of the NJP ADRM office today.


Pankaj Chakraborty, the joint secretary of the organization, accused the railway department of depriving them of bonus. He further alleged that the central government is pushing the railways towards privatization. Hence, they warned of jamming the railway wheels if their demands are not met within 24 hours.

Organization branch secretary Saumyadeep Karmakar, joint secretary Utpal Dutta, and many others were present during the programme.
