Rajganj, 11th October: Five people have been injured in a road accident that occurred in Rajganj on Sunday morning. The incident surfaced from the Teesta Canal Road in the Putimari Laxmijote area near Fulbari.
According to local sources, a small freight car coming from Fulbari collided head-on with a dumper coming from the opposite direction. Another vehicle behind the freight vehicle lost control and fell into a drain. As a result, five people were severely injured.
The injured individuals were rescued and sent to North Bengal Medical College. Meanwhile, the NJP police and a fire engine reached the spot after receiving the news. Police have recovered the two vehicles and started an investigation.
