Dooars, 02nd February: A person was killed in a road accident on National Highway 31, Binnaguri under the Banarhat police station area. However, the deceased had not been identified yet.
According to sources, the deceased was crossing the road on his bicycle today, when a vehicle rammed into it killing him on the spot.
On the other hand, upon receiving the news, the police arrived at the scene and recovered the body and sent it for an autopsy. The Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
