Kharibari, 20th October: Sensation prevailed after the body of a youth was recovered from a bamboo shrub in the Dangi Maynaguri area under Raniganj-Panishali gram panchayat of Kharibari block. The deceased has been identified as Rajkumar Roy (28).
Shankar Roy, the father of the deceased, said that Rajkumar left his house for work on Monday as usual. However, the locals sighted his lifeless body hanging in the bamboo shrub, this morning. The incident was reported to the Kharibari police.
The police recovered the body and sent it to North Bengal Medical College- Hospital for an autopsy. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
