Naxalbari, 25th February: Sensation prevailed after the lifeless body of a youth was found hanging in the Dhakna Colony area under Maniram Gram Panchayat of Naxalbari block. The deceased has been identified as Avinash Roy (26).
As per the report, Roy’s family members sighted his body hanging from a noose inside his room around 8 am today. The incident was then reported to the Naxalbari police station.
Following this, Police recovered the body and sent it to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for an autopsy. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
