240 CCTV cameras installed in North Bengal University along with Wi-Fi service

Siliguri, 05th April: The security system of North Bengal University has been strengthened as the administration has installed 240 CCTV cameras. 


Reportedly, Vice Chancellor Omprakash Mishra inaugurated CCTV cameras and a free Wi-Fi system in the university today. It is to be noted that till now CCTV cameras were installed only in hostels and administrative buildings, but now the surveillance cameras have been installed in the entire university. 

Apart from this, WiFi service has begun for the convenience of the students and professors of the university. Both these services were launched through a program. In this regard, the Vice-Chancellor said that the motive is to take the university a step ahead. In the coming days, all arrangements will be made including the improvement of the university.
