Islampur, 03rd March: Sensation prevailed after an old dispute took a violent turn resulting in the death of a young man.
The news surfaced from the Bandira Gachh area of Islampur police station under Uttar Dinajpur district. Reportedly, two children were also injured in the incident. The deceased has been identified as Mohammed Fayal (24). While the injured as Naseem Khan and Roshni.
According to sources, on Wednesday, three members of the same family, Mohammed Fayal, Naseem Khan and Roshni were wounded by bullet injuries when a clash between two groups escalated taking a fatal form.
While Mohammed Fayal was rushed to Islampur District Hospital in a critical condition, the doctors declared him dead. According to the family of the deceased, in addition to an old dispute, the local hooligans were demanding money from Mohammed Fayal. When he failed to pay them, the miscreants allegedly shot him.
Islampur Police District Superintendent of Police Sachin Makkar stated that there was a dispute between the two families. A search for the accused has been initiated, he further added.
