Siliguri, 11th March: Before the Siliguri Municipal Corporation elections, 200 people left Trinamool Congress(TMC) and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party( BJP) under the leadership of former TMC leaders Kajal Das and Gangu Malik.
Reportedly, the BJP District President Prabin Agarwal handed over the party flag to the newcomers during an event held at the party office in Siliguri Hashmi Chowk.
