Naxalbari, 12th May: Sensation prevailed in the area after the dead body of a girl was found hanging from the noose at Fagu Line of Naxalbari tea garden. The deceased has been identified as Prisca Oraon (20).
Reportedly, the family members saw the body of the girl hanging inside the house late at night after which the matter was immediately reported to Naxalbari Police.
Upon receiving the news, police reached the spot and recovered the body, and sent it to Naxalbari Rural Hospital. Later, this morning the deceased’s body was sent to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for autopsy. Meanwhile, Naxalbari police are engaged in further investigation.
