Alipurduar, 31st July: A 20-foot long python was recovered from the East Khairbari area of Madarihat in Alipurduar district.
According to local sources, the python tried to kill a goat in the field in the East Khairbari area on Saturday evening. Following which, the resident of the area Deepak Bishwakarma was informed. Deepak Bishwakarma reached the spot, recovered the snake, and handed it over to the forest department.
