Kalchini, 06th November: Police recovered the body of a 17-year old boy hanging from a noose in the Vivek Nagar area of Hamiltonganj in Kalchini block. The incident caused a stir in the area. The deceased has been identified as Bapi Barman.
On Saturday morning, the locals sighted the body hanging from a noose and informed the police. Upon receiving the news, the Kalchini police reached the spot and recovered the body.
The body has been sent to Alipurduar District Hospital for an autopsy. Police have started an investigation into the whole incident.
