Alipurduar, 02nd March: In Alipurduar, 160 people left the Trinamool Congress (TMC) and joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at the party’s Alipurduar district office, on Tuesday.
160 TMC activists, including booth-level leaders from Kumargram and Kamakhyaguri area under the Kumargram assembly constituency, joined BJP in the presence of district president Ganga Prasad Sharma and Dasharath Tirkey.
