Fulbari, 28th March: On Thursday morning, the lifeless body of a youth was found hanging from a tree in a vacant space near a canal in Rajiv Para area under Fulbari II Gram Panchayat (GP). The deceased has been identified as Debashish Roy (20).
According to the deceased’s family members, on Tuesday night, Debashish had left the residence and did not returned. Despite searching for his presence at several locations on Wednesday, he was untraced. Subsequently, this morning, his hanging body was recovered from a tree.
Upon receiving the news, the officials of NJP police station arrived at the spot, recovered the body of the deceased, and transported it to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). Currently, the police are engaged in further investigation.
