Naxalbari, 30th July: A youth was electrocuted to death after he accidentally came in contact with a live electric wire in Khalbasti under the Naxalbari police station.
According to the information, on Thursday, the family members saw the youth lying unconscious on the terrace. They rushed him to Naxalbari Rural Hospital, but as his condition deteriorated, he was taken to a private nursing home, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Upon receiving the information, Naxalbari police reached the spot and recovered the body and sent it to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem. Police have initiated an investigation into the whole incident.
