Young Indians Siliguri Chapter holds 7th Annual Session

Young Indians(Yi), founded in the year 2002, is a movement to converge, lead, co-create & influence India’s future. Yi is an integral part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) that aims to realize the dream of a developed nation. The organisation currently has a presence in over 53 cities across the nation with over 3200 direct members & 29500 Yuva Members from over 130 leading educational institutions across the nation. The Siliguri Chapter of Young Indians was formed in the year 2013 and currently has the membership strength over 100 Direct Members & 750Yuva Members.


Yi –Siliguri held its 7th Annual Session at Mayfair Tea Resort, New Chumta wherein the new Chair & the Co-chair of the organisation was nominated. The Annual Session was graced by the presence of Mr PiyushGarg, National Chair – Project Masoom, Young Indians & Past Chair – Yi Siliguri who praised the great work done by Yi in Siliguri amidst the uncertainties surrounding the pandemic and wished the incoming leadership all the best for future.

CA. Lekh Ram Nyoliwala, the Proprietor of M/s L. R. Nyoliwala& Co., Chartered Accountants, has been nominated as the Chapter Chair of Yi Siligurifor the year 2021. He is a Fellow Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India & practising in the field of Indirect Taxation for over 10 years now. He is an alumnus of St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata. He has served as the Co-chair of Yi Siliguri during 2020.


Mr RohitTewari, a partner of M/s Parmeshwari Tea Company has been chosen as the Co-Chair for 2021. He is actively engaged in the tea industry as a Tea Taster, Blender & Trader since 2002. He is a graduate from Siliguri College of Commerce & has been actively engaged in various activities of Yi-Siliguri since 2016.
