Kalchini, 18th August: A woman’s body was found hanging from a noose in Garam Basti in Kalchini area. The deceased has been identified as Dashmi Asur. Earlier today, the family members found her body hanging from a noose inside her house. Soon after the body was taken to North Latabari Rural Hospital in Kalchini, where the doctors declared her brought dead.
According to the family members of the deceased, Dashmi was intoxicated on Wednesday. It has also been alleged that Dashmi had tried committing suicide before in an inebriated state. The police recovered her body and sent it for post-mortem. The police are further investigating the matter.
