Alipurduar, 23rd January: A truck rammed into a woman on a bicycle due to dense fog in the area near the Tasati Tea garden of the Alipurduar district. The woman died on the spot.
According to the information, the truck was travelling from Birpara towards Falakata when it lost control and ran into the bicycle and then fell into a pit. The deceased has been identified as Pinky Oraon (37), a resident of the quarter line of the Tasati Tea garden.
