Rajganj, 21st September: The Higher Secondary third-semester examinations began across West Bengal on Monday. In Rajganj, BJP workers distributed water bottles and pens to examinees as a gesture of goodwill and wished them success ahead of their exams.
The programme was organised by the BJP Yuva Morcha outside Bandhunagar Debendranath High School in Rajganj. Similar programmes were also held by the BJP outside various examination centres across the Rajganj area.
The examinations will continue until October 14. A total of 7,18,620 candidates are appearing for the third-semester examinations across the state, including 3,15,731 boys and 4,02,889 girls.
Among those present at the programme were Jalpaiguri BJP OBC Morcha Sabhapati Sanatan Bhowmik, Majhiali Gram Panchayat Pradhan Sugrib Roy, Majhiali Yuva Morcha Saha Sabhapati Khokon Roy, Haradhan Saha and others.
