Siliguri, 30th December: A woman lost her life in a road accident in the Bhaktinagar police station area. The deceased has been identified as Rita Chhetri, a resident of the Prakash Nagar Limbu Basti area under the Bhaktinagar police station.
As per the information, a 10-wheeler truck ran over Rita Chhetri near Bhaktinagar traffic point around 8 am today. Upon receiving the news, the police reached the spot, recovered the body, and sent it for an autopsy.
A written complaint has already been lodged at the Bhaktinagar police station on behalf of the deceased’s family. Meanwhile, the police seized the truck and have started an investigation into the whole incident.
