Siliguri, 02nd September: West Bengal Government Employees Committee organized a rally in Siliguri today in support of a total of five-point demands including payment of dearness allowance.
Earlier, a meeting was held on behalf of the committee in front of the Siliguri Kangchenjunga Stadium Hall. After this, the rally commenced in front of the stadium and ended at Mahatma Gandhi Chowk by marching through different areas of the city. Along with this, a memorandum was also submitted on behalf of the committee in the SDO office on this day.
